First off, Thanks to the large number of IKO members that made it out to Anderson this past weekend. You helped us put on a great show with a good amount of cars. I'd also like to thank some of the IKO officials for helping us getting the cars on track and making the events run smoothly.
That being said, I know there was a lot of controversy over tech and DQs. But CSR was asked awhile back by a senior IKO official to tech their cars, and to tech them hard. That was done, and it what it is. A few people complained that IKO were the only ones being dq'd but that wasn't true as one CSR top car was DQ'd as well.
Regardless of tech, I had fun racing with y'all. I look at it this way, CSR cars were racing CSR cars while IKO cars raced IKO cars, we just happened to be on the same track at the same time. So big picture, the tech issues were mute. Thanks for racing with us, it was good to see both divisions run their features without a caution. We were faster than the other series at Anderson, yet they couldn't stay green, which says a lot for both the IKO and CSR.
Take care guys, and good luck the rest of the season!
Just inviting y'all to take a look at the CSR schedule. We have a couple races not too far from your neck of the woods, so if you have a free weekend, we'd love to see you guys join us! Check out our schedule at www.supercupracing.com and I'll make sure we take a look at your schedule as well!
Good luck this season guys!
